Fran began with tw-Security in 2014; she first met Tom Walsh in 2000. They were co-workers building a HIPAA practice at another consulting firm.
- Over 30 years of clinical/direct patient care, business, information technology, and over 20 years’ experience in HIPAA compliance
- Former CTG Health Solutions Director of Opportunity Response, Business Development / Marketing Analyst, and HIPAA Client Service Executive
- Clinical management experience is comprised of being a member of a turn-around transformation leadership team with the director of nursing responsibility for 155 FTE’s and 24×7 care for a highly complex patient population
- Former business owner of two firms; HIT Business Development and Nursing Consultancy – addressing the needs of home health and long-term care
- Healthcare clinical experience spans publicly-traded international IT businesses to sole proprietary LLC’s, and academic medical centers to community hospitals and physical rehabilitation facilities
- Recognized 2014-2015 Woman of the Year, NAPW for industry contribution
- Memberships include HIMSS, previous Chapter President Central and Southern Ohio HIMSS, and past member of the North Carolina Health Information Association (NCHIA) HIPAA Security Committee
